Okay this is for all of you members that have been here a while. When I became a member it said something about sending me catalogs and discounts and stuff in the mail.It also said something about sending me e-mails. I have been a member for 3-4 days and I haven't got anything. How often do they send me stuff? And does this cost anything to be a member?

Thanks

A guitar player

I never signed up for that, but I'd say its probably a monthly kinda thing. Every other magazine-type thing I used to sign up for was always monthly, so you know, I'm just taking a guess.

Usually the only mail is the Fender Frontline In-Home catalog. They come maybe every 3 months or so. Email updates may come a bit sooner depending on when new products are begin introduced and new giveaways are occurring. You may get those once a month or sooner.

They never send you spam. The emails will usually be about promotions (the Rocker guitar giveaway or a new line of amps being introduced, etc.) Any mail you receive is most likely a small 10-15 page catalog. They're pretty nifty because they usually include offers for free t-shirts for trying out the new products.

I've recieved 2 catalogs in the last year. Being signed up for the forum doesn't mean you get stuff in the mail all the time or Fender sends you $500 coupons for gear and stuff. When you sign up for the Forum you'll get a catalog from time to time if you used a correct address. You'll automatically be entered in contests that are open when you visit the lounge. Joining the Forum doesn't mean free stuff all the time.

Realistically, I dont expect vouchers, but a catalogue would be appreciated.

That sounds reasonable to me. Have you checked your profile to make sure your addy is all correct?

My response above was really geared towards the kid who was under the impression that coupons and free stuff were going to rain down on him simply by joining the Forum.

They'll send a Frontline In-Home edition every few months...I think my deadhead mailman is stealing mine...
