I absolutely love the feel of maple neck/fingerboard more than I do most necks. They just feel so slick and comfortable. :D

Yes, I own a few of both, but I find maple has better playability.

I do too, maple has a nice look which I really love, I think the rosewood has a better tone though.

People generally believe that maple is brighter and rosewood is warmer. Honestly, I don't detect much of a difference.

I guess, people say this wood is better, that wood is warmer, I don't know, my ear can't detect these minute differences. One of the reason it sounds different between my 2 basses could be one is strung with flats, the other round.
