There are actually 3 or 4 at least.

I prefer Rosewood.

This has been done a few times like Chet said, but all my guitars are rosewood. I don't mind maple, but I suppose I like rosewood a bit better.

i like them both.. i love that picture by the way! i like maple becuase its a brighter sound.. but ill be honest i dont personally own a guitar with a maple fretboard. i wish i had a reissue strat wit a dark lacquered maple neck because they just look good.. but as far as im concerned they both sound great.

'Never played a rosewood neck, only rosewood fingerboards, so no opinon.

Personally, 'really savour an ebony board on a maple neck, but they are rare and pricey.

I like maple cause the skies open up and the sun shines down and the angels start singing and an orchestra plays before an audience of animated stratocasters wearing Forum T-shirts.

Or maybe I like rosewood?
