Doesn't Matt Bellamy have one of those ? On songs like Invincible you can just feel the fuzz lol. I've been looking for a good fuzz pedal might look into either of these.

Bellamy has one built directly into his guitar. It's mainly for the stab feature, but I think two of the knobs are visible on his silver mirror guitar.

He uses it at about 2:30 in blackout live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt17DjHrz1w

and also the intro to plug in baby: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuhOR3lh6Lo

Invincible is actually a Korg Kaoss pad which is built into his guitar. It's a DJ processing unit. I know lots of useless information on his guitars, so hopefully that could be of help.

I personally like the tone of the first one much better, but I also love the stab feature on the zvex.

I actually tried the Fuzz Factory and it sounded pretty much like he did at the end of the video... Now that I see how its done it might go better... sounded fun.

I ran into this guy who has some interesting stuff: Tortuga Effects

I heard it was built in but I kinda thought that didn't make sense. I don't mean on the more trippy parts but stuff like the chords he plays and the solo (pretty cool BTW). Good to see some other Muse fans around here :D

^ The link doesn't work FYI (to skelefish). Says it's an invalid friend ID.

As for the fuzzes, both would be good I think. The first one gives you a bit more of a hearty tone, but I do all sorts of random stuff on my guitar (a la Tom Morello and Matt Bellamy) so the zvex may be better for me. I've never had the chance to try one though because no one around here sells them. Hopefully around Christmas I'll get myself a fuzz, but again, both seem pretty decent.

Any idea what the demeter costs?

Yeah, it's built right into the guitar. He gets all his made exclusively by Hugh Manson (who also did John Paul Jones' basses). It's actually pretty remarkable some of the stuff he puts into those guitars.

And yeah, it's nice to see some muse fans. I'm pretty big into their stuff here for the last year or two. It's refreshing to hear as opposed to the stuff on the radio.

To bluestube: That thing looks pretty nifty. I have the Digitech Hendrix pedal, but I've never seen that one before. Sounds great.

Give the Damage Contol devices a look. Many have twin tubes in them like the "Womanizer" and "Demonizer".
