Has anyone used one of these or have any opinions of them. They are at a discounted price in my local shop.
Thanks

Do you have a picture of it ? I have a Boss ME-50 floor pod. Sometimes I think I should have bought several stomp boxes, but the me-50 has memory presets, which I guess is a plus. How about yours?

bought it...returned it next week. Dano pedals sound better than that flimsy heap. Line 6 = great affordable amps, crap effects.

I was considering it, because it seemed to be so cheap. But after reading some bad reviews, and thinking a little more on the matter, I dont really require one of these.

Yeah, you're probably better off just buying several stomp boxes. You won't need but a couple. I like Boss pedals . It's your choice. Go and try out several kinds and use the same guitar and amp to compare. Good luck!

i used a pod v2 for gigs for awhile. The driven amp simulations are good on it, high gain sounds are poor wasp in a jam jar things, and the clean sounds are sterile. the effects are garbage aside from the delay and compresser which i thought justified the price of the thing. the floor pod uses the same programming as the v2.

A gigging buddy bought one and loves it.

Personally have no gripe with Line 6 effects (use a Vetta for 4+ years); maybe ears are not that quality to discern.

Personally, I hate multi-effects pedals. They comprominse way too much on tone to cram all those effects into one pedal. My mantra is one pedal, one effect, good tone.

My take on the whole multi vs. individual pedal debate is that while the multi effects monsters may seem an awesome deal for the money, it's the "more is less" instead of the reverse. I mean, with 50 amp models, 100 effects, 20 reverbs, a zillion whatever elses - you still wind up using maybe a half dozen settings that you really like. Seems like a waste to me. I had asked this question months ago on these forums and went with the overwhelming advice to go with individual pedals. I did, and I'm glad i did. PLus all the different colors look so much "Purtty-er"

Agreed, Scanman. On the Vetta, a half dozen amp models get 90% of the use and virtually none of the effects ever get called up. But it (and the Cyber-Twin) are so bleeping convenient.
