$400 for a fake guitar! Like $60 for a plastic guitar for a video game wasn't bad enough!

this pisses me off!!
Its like no one wants to learn the real thing, they all just want to pick up a guitar and be a legend!
All of us who work our butts off to learn the real thing are getting S*** on, thats all, S*** on! All our efforts, time, practice, and hard work are getting thrown out the window now, because people get crap like this that makes them "sound so much better"! This crap drives me nuts!

It`s nothing more than an expensive toy, don`t even let it bother you. Put a Fender into the hands of someone using one and watch them turn beet red.

I don't see any difference in this from playing air guitar. It's just air guitar with props. But wait..air guitar is cool right? Air guitar isn't ruining the world or preventing kids from being musicians and neither are video games based on a guitar. It's a toy, don't worry about it. If it is so bad for guitar players why are Fender and Gibson involved in it? There's nothing sacreligeous about pretending to play a guitar.

Just think about it this way, people are willing to pay $400 to pretend they are as awesome as you.

Now that is a very healthy way to look at it!

My son plays GH and loves it. He asks me if I want to play with him and I kindly state "No thanks. I'm gonna go play the real thing. Wanna play with me?" Eventually, he is gonna escape from the Dark Side!

Do you think the Fender Custom Shop needs to look at this market niche?
