Hey, another Suipsychomaniac!!! :) Yeah, they kinda got big in the mid '90 with the second Monsters of Rock tour with Megadeth, Anthrax, and I don't remember who else. Not to be confused with the 1st Monsters of Rock with VH, Metallica, Kingdom Come, etc from the late '80s. Mike Muir kinda got into it with Dave Mustaine (who didn't in the early '90s tho).

'80s music was full of synth sounds. This was the time when keyboards were supposed to edge out the guitar as the musician's weapon of choice. It didn't happen obviously. There was SRV & Double Trouble and the Jeff Healey Band, Eric Johnson, but in the '90s . . .

Yup, agreed with you there. An example is Queen, who seriously kicked arse in the 70's, but after Jazz it only went downwards for Queen.
