I'm thinking we could probably expand the weekend hours some. The traffic is relatively light and there's been no real problems to speak of. Actually, I'm suprised about the light traffic. Seems like people screaming for weekend hours and now very few actually use it. Maybe it's just the summer.

I think we could get away with 24/7... Epiphone's forum has it (and most forums I've been to do), and there are never problems there...

I will say, though, that there are more "kids" here. At least, people who act like kids. There are plenty of kids at both forums who can act like adults.

(I rushed this to get it in before closing...)

It does seem reasonable to maybe have a few more hours. There hasn't been too much trouble lately aside from the people who feel the need to complain about Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers in every post.

I would prefer it if we had week days at 24/7 open forums!

I would too, due to the fact I work nights Wed - Sat, it'd be nice to be able to come home from work @ 0030 (1230 am) and wind down being on here instead of trying to eat and watch tv...

Have there been any "major scenes" lately? I haven't seen any, but if they were handled quickly, it would be easy to have missed them.

I have been amazed at the lack of traffic on the weekends. I see plenty of people logged in, but no one posting.

Of course now that we have talked about how few/small problems we have had all hell is going break loose.

It might be because many are gigging on weekends and others are spending time with their families?

I actually like the shorter hours, because you have something to look forward to on monday, the longer hours are just a bonus of the week, which is something I normally dread, so it helps improve the dreaded "Monday" because you have something to look forward to.
I think it would be good to have it open longer on saturday, and possibly closed sunday, just to get back the feeling of excitement for monday we had when we couldn't post on the weekends...

Yeah, it's summer, been busy.
Like I posted the first open weekend, I was at home, but busy--so I only had time to briefly read & post on a break.

How about regular hours Monday - Saturday and closed on Sunday. That way Brad can have at least one day to not have be attached to his blackberry.
