My girlfriend just showed me this. The man certainly played on a lot of hits. RIP, Hal. :(

The book [ The Wrecking Crew ] covered most of his career, and it was pretty successful. One year he was the drummer for 8 nominations. The Crew recorded alot of music in the 60s and 70s.

I knew of Hal Blaine very early on in life. Anyone interested in music history would have a difficult time not knowing of Hal as he was everywhere as told. Mr. Cool.

He is a great example to show that there is no best drummer; although, questionably, Hal is without an equal in his corner of the drummer world. He certainly is amongst the best.
