Frogwings to me was one of those essential super groups:

Butch Trucks (Allman Brothers Band): Drums

Derrick Trucks: Guitar

Jimmy Herring (Dead, ARU, Jazz is Dead, Phil Lesh, Lenny White): Guitar

Mark Quinones ( ABB, Spyro Gyra): Percussion

John Popper (Blues Traveller): Vocals, Harmonica

Oteil Burbridge (ABB, ARU, Dead and Company): Bass

Kofi Burbridge ( ARU, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder): Flute, Keys

I'm posting this on my phone right now. When I'm on my computer I will post a couple of tracks.

C/S,
Rev J

Thanks, for the post Rev’. When we lived on the coast, the Mrs. and I were fortunate to have upstairs a trained flautist from the symphony who we encouraged to practice in the morning. She liked jazz as well, and it was a great way to enjoy the morning with those notes finding their way down the staircase in our 100 year old home. :D
Kofi was gifted as his brother’s fine tribute alluded to. We are richer for it, and I know he will be missed by many.

RIP Kofi.
