Have to comment a bit.

The first time I played in a band in public it would have made that first video look really good. Our vocals were better, but overall we were worse. That wouldn't make those kids bad musicians--just young ones that will get better if they keep it up.

As for the second video--have you ever tried to sing or play when you can't hear yourself? Or when you can't hear the others very well either? It's tough--and it looks like that's what happened there.

The third one either needs to have a better vocalist, or pick songs better suited to his voice. That's an experience thing.

The fourth looks like people trying to be bad on purpose, and so does the fifth one.

The Brady Bunch & Partridge family weren't really musicians--except for Shirley Jones--who really could sing & David Cassidy--well that's a debate you could have.

Most of the others mentioned it's more a case of people not liking their music--so they say that person sucks as a musician/singer. That doesn't necessarily follow. There are many musicians I am not a fan of--but I don't say they suck. I can appreciate their talent without appreciating their music.

So I'm sticking with the Shaggs.

Now that was just plain awful--yet in a way I like it.
They were awful musicians, though.

I wasn't intending on calling any of those youtube videos "The worst musicians." I know it's hard to start in a band and do any covers that even come close to the original. As I said, I just posted them "for a laugh" considering they were worse than some of the suggestions that were being put out there.

Fair enough. I found most of them on similar forums in threads titles "worst cover songs" or such. I don't know why most of them even uploaded their videos, it's pretty obvious that they don't sound at all up to par with the originals.
