Did anyone watch the Saturday Night Live performance of Greta Van Fleet? My wife and I never heard of them and we were very impressed! Usually, we are picky about the music churned out today. I believe the youngest member is only 19. They are all the most talented (new) musicians out there!

I was very impressed!

I didn't see the SNL performance but GVF has several videos posted on youtube -- well worth a look.

I saw them and enjoyed it as well.
A good Rock & Roll sounding band and had never heard of them before last night.

Thanks, for bringing Greta Van Fleet to my attention, reno2atlanta. Good to see ya here. Great video, sfceric64. This band rocks and it's always good to see the younger musicians keeping this genre alive amongst the pop of today. Besides, there's some kick a** players out there that need that stage. IMHO. 8)

Super talented. I applaud them for picking up and carrying the rock torch for this generation.

I have two albums by them:
- From The Fires
- Anthem Of The Peaceful Army

Been listening to them for a couple of years.
Think I bought their first one in March or April 2017.
Good stuff.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I like Greta van Fleet and have even made enemies in other forums because of that, believe me or not (not on my part, though: some people just can't accept that some folks actually like new rock).

Of course, I do know that they aren't anything new or supernatural, but it just happens that I am a Led Zep maniac, and one of the things I miss the most in music is new Zep-like stuff to discover.

They deliver something that's close enough.

I agree about Zep ... I am probably the only one on the planet that listens to the "Coda" album. As for Greta Van Fleet, the musicians are very good. But I am not a fan of the lead singer which kinda kills it for me. They are definitely talented and also good kids, though ... all brothers and/or related to each other, right?
