Imitations just can't beat Fender! (or anything in Fender's family of brands, like their Dinky models for example...).

I see this survey was posted twice -- seems to be getting more interest here in the Lounge so I'll leave this one. Please only post stuff like this once ... thanks.

Do they still make Kramers? I didn't realize they still do, if they still do.

This is the Kramer I prefer:

Or this:

Or Wayne Kramer:

I agree with bowlfreshener in that the Kramer from Seinfeld kicks $@!. On topic though, this is a Fender forum, so I HIGHLY doubt that you'll get many unbiased responses unless a few actually own one of each. I've never played a Kramer, so I can't help you out here.

Aren't kramer owned by gibson now.
I played a early 80's barreta once (along time ago in a galaxy far far away, called redditch) it wasn't bad, aside from the worn out floyd it was a good metal guitar.
of course it wasnt a fender. when will fender bring back the heavy metal tele. now that was a beast of a guitar.

That trem was awesome despite its up pitch limitations it was far more comfortable than any floyd or kahler.

I am not at all a fan of Telecasters, but that, by far, really catches my eye.
