I like my G-DEC Jr for its features and usability. I'd like to improve its sound a bit. I think I might be able to improve it by changing the speaker. Do you have any experience with this? Is my diagnosis of the speaker a good one, or is there something inherent about the circuitry that will make a speaker change ineffective?

Thanks for the help.

Changing a speaker will definately have an effect.
After all it is the material & physics puting the sound into the air.
But the amp simulating & modeling in that thing were created for those speakers.
I am not saying it would be a bad idea. But who knows if it will actually sound better.

BSS, I would imagine, that changing the speaker in the G-dec, would be like changing the speaker in all of the amps that are modeled. Some would be for the better, some would be for the worse. Just a thought from outside the box.
