With the Fender Lounge Forum Shirts right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to create some kind of a photo contest with you and your shirt. Post a picture of you wearing your Lounge Forum Shirt at some cool or exotic location and be judged by your fellow Forum members. Think mountain tops, historical landmarks, shaking hands with famous people, etc.

Points would be rewarded based on coolness, exoticness, famousness of the location of you and your shirt. You in the backyard flippin' burgers on the BBQ, not so good, you standing in front of Eiffel Tower, much better, you crashing backstage at the concert and shaking hands with EC, now we're talking. Bonus points if you crash backstage, find a fellow Lounge Forum shirt wearer and both get your photo together with EC. You get the idea.

I sort of stole this idea from a great old place we used to have in Nevada City called Cowboy Pizza. Along with the pizzas, they sold a nice logo t-shirt. People would take their pictures wearing their Cowboy Pizza shirt at these cool/exotic locales (top of Mt. McKinely, Great Wall of China, to name a couple) and bring the photos into the restaurant. If Cowboy Wally and his staff deemed the photo worthy, it was tacked onto the Wall of Fame and you got a free pizza.

Now I don't expect Brad and the Fender staff will find time in their busy schedules to deliver all those pizzas. This is just about bragging rights, not prizes. Let's kick this around and see what we can come up with.

I would say no to Photo Shop. My idea would be legitimate photos of you and your shirt. Now, if your not a world traveler, that does not mean you can't find some unique photo opportunities right in your own area, that will be up the judges (Forum members) to decide.

:( I'm too cheap to get one of the shirts. I'm going into my senior year, so there'll be some expenses and then college next year.

For nostolgia, I'd love to see Joe Camel puffing on a cig in a dimly lit lounge that says "Fender Lounge" in neon. Hell why not; Camel can't use Joe Camel anymore, brother needs some work!!!!!!!!!

That would be a great looking T-shirt. But I'm afraid that political correctness would put a fast halt on that one. Still.......I could picture that in my mind.......and it's a great looking T-shirt, from what I can see......
