MHD was showing a few of the BBC Electric Proms concerts today... I saw a bit of The Who, and then I saw that Paul McCartney was on. I didn't watch Paul, because it's on again at midnight, so I set the DVR to record it.

There was a great special about producer, Tom Dowd, last night. What a career he had and his experience led to working with some really great musicians. It covered his early years through Atlantic to Stax and working with Clapton, Duane Allman, Aretha, etc.

He was also a very good musician himself (I didn't know that). Many of the industry giants had nothing but praise for knowing and working with him.
