I had 4 adult teeth pulled for braces yesterday. When the numbing started to to fade i felt some of the worst pain ive ever felt in my life. now i can only eat soft foods and have a giant gap in my mouth. im sooo sore. but my parents let me bring a portable dvd player into my room and i watched all the Oceans 12 and 13 movies. The numbing lasted 3 hours. and i couldnt talk till 8 at night. bad experience. :(

Pain is never a good thing, but it sounds like it will only be temporary for you. Best wishes!

Mike, I beg to differ! Pain is there to let you know there is something wrong, but the best thing about pain is that it lets you know you are still alive! :)

I hope you feel better Clash!

Hang in there! I once had four molers pulled out once without being knocked out. I just took a few days off of work and I was fine.......you'll recover, with no problem at all.

I remember when I had to have teeth pulled to make room for braces and such. Not a fun deal, especially when you start drooling over everything because your entire mouth is numb.

This is just kind of out of the blue, but, if you ever get a cavity, don't bother with the numbing. Either way you don't feel anything. (Speaking from experience).

I reme, mber the 1st time I got braces on, and they put on braces that were 3 sizes too tight... tha was terrible. Try getting really involved with something, like guitar!

There is only one Oceans 12 and one Oceans 13 movie...

There are two Oceans 11, though.

I joke.

i wish i could say no to braces. My mom says i have too and i also have teeth that are all in places they arent supposed to be so it kinda looks weird. The real downside is that my vocal/piano teacher says it will make it very hard to sing.
