Eric was accompanied by Gary Brooker (hammond organ), Dave Peacock (bass) and Albert Lee (guitar), there's a footage from the Shepherd's Bush Empire gig which took place 2 days ago as a tribute to the late Dave Hodges who passed away at 74 on September 22nd.

They look like they're having a good time.

Albert Lee's birthday is coming up and then he'll be touring the Northeast U.S.
here. We met him last time around and a very nice and talented guy.

Albert and I from last January :

That's very cool, Mike. I hope you get to see Albert again this year!

Thanks, for the post Chromeface. Who would have guessed Goodnight Irene would have been played 86 years after it was first recorded in1933 by Huddie ‘Lead Belly’ Ledbetter? Lead Belly is said to have played it in 1908, copies go back to 1892, and origin is thought to be even earlier. And now we have Clapton on this event in respect of Dave Hodges. :D That’s pretty good mileage.

Talk about fun. That's what you and Albert look to be having, Mike. Nice!

Chas and Dave supported Eric @ BST Fest in Hyde Park last summer.

Here's an excerpt from the Xmas Knees show in 1982 which featured Slowhand performing Goodnight Irene and Slow Down Linda. For the occasion the British blues-rocker had brought out one of the first custom creations built for him by luthier Roger Giffin.
