I don't really mind it that much.
I agree it does seem a bit odd but Fender has had lots of odd colours over the years.
Some caught on, others didn't.
Time will tell.
That cream moto guard works well with it.
I can tell you this much, I would much rather have this colour than any of those ugly paisley guitars they had a few years back.
Those made me want to barf.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

The color las time I checked doesn't make a difference in sound kinda like putting chrome on a motorcycle has yet to make it faster. If you play it enough you won't have to worry about the color you will rub some of it off.

I didn't care for those colors much either, Matt, but I'm old school. Maybe younger people appreciate them more.

I just got the rose gold. I thought at first it was just an ok color but it has grown on me. I love the feel of the neck and after a few adjustments the pickups are amazing. I also can't complain since it was a wedding gift from the wife.

congratulations pics?

Might be a good combination present for the ladies this Christmas. :D

especially for Mrs. FSB!
Late for the party, I gotta say you may be right, Mike. I taught her an E chord last month. Now I’m working on her technique, tempo, and how to use the tuner on the iPhone. She’ll prolly paint her nails the same colour. Now I just need to find her a song that uses nothing but an E chord.

Was it an Em11th? Strumming all six strings open, if I remember my music theory correctly.

It prolly was, Marky. I think her fingers slipped a few times and the strings came off the fretboard.

Well Mrs. FSB has a great teacher and I'm sure both of you will have a lot of fun. :)
