Wow! A true legend. Great post, Paul.

Great comics, wicked villains, and super heroes. Stan was a character, and a Marvel.

Thanks, for the fantasy adventures in comic book land, Mr. Lee. You’ve earned a rest.

As a lifelong comics fan, I was saddened to hear this news today. RIP Stan, and thank you!

The only thing that I still have from my childhood/early teen years is a box of mostly Marvel comics, which I haven't seen since I was 13 years old. My sister found them when she was cleaning out her garage, before they moved to North Carolina. She still has them, and was supposed to ship them to me, but haven't got around to that yet. Stan's works were a big part of those years, so much so that before I picked up a bass guitar, I wanted to be a cartoonist, and used to draw a lot. He was certainly a lot better at that, and those that worked for him than I was, I think.
