Bad Company's first live gig was at the Oxford New Theater in April of 1974. I was there with friends and bought a poster which listed their second gig the following weekend in London. Where is the poster and ticket stub you might ask? I gave them to Zachary, an engineer for my old band MrSolarcoaster CD recorded at Studio Chicago, Zach did a great job so thought he should have something special to remember us. Bad Company were "the" premier rock and roll band from that first gig on, a hit machine extraordinaire. 8)

Bad Company is one of those bands, that, if you grew up listening to them...or just a casual radio listener when they come on....their music, and Rodgers voice are unmistakable, and everyone in the car, in the house, at the party----where ever----EVERYONE will scream "Dude! Bad Company....turn this $@!& up"!!!

Good stuff, no doubt!

A fun album--it came with a giant pick at one point--with the names of the guitar players on it.

I liked Bad Company but never was in love with them. I thought Paul Rodgers best work was with Jimmy Page in the Firm (who were also very good live, by the way). I also Paul Rodgers with Queen, who were about as good as they could be, I guess, without Freddie ...
