I think there's only Jack Casady, Jorma Kaukonen, and Grace Slick left, at least from the "Surrealistic Pillow" lineup, now. :( Which reminds me, I hope I do get to see Hot Tuna live, before something happens to either Jack or Jorma. I missed them the last time they played here.

+1

And Signe Toly Anderson (whom Grace Slick replaced just after the "Takes Off" debut album was released) passed away two or three years ago. What a voice she had!.

Yeah, I remember she actually died on the same day as Paul Kantner did.

For Marty Balin, there was also the 70s-era Jefferson Starship, too. This band had numerous albums and a LOT of success, but seems to get lost sometimes between the 1960s Jefferson Airplane and the 1980's (Mickey Thomas) Jefferson Starship/Starship eras.

RIP, Mr. Balin ... "If only you believed in miracles, so would I ..."

I found this on YouTube. He was performing back in 2014, with Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen doing "Volunteers."
