Done a few fun changes lately. Take a peek. Added my first Fender amp in probably 5-6 years.

General check in too I guess. How are y'all holding up?

I almost bought an Epiphone Scroll yesterday

I might. A little hefty in price, but rare and cool as hell.

I grabbed the Peavey T-30 and 2 pedals yesterday for $205.

I have so much extra money since I started turning wrenches for an International Truck Dealership.

The red guitar is one of the very early Cimars Ibanez did in the 1970s. This model was discontinued in the mid 1980s when Hoshino moved to the superstrat camp with the RG line.

Actually, it's a Cimar V/ML hybrid. That's how it came from the factory in 1982. They only came in red and black.

Hey there, Jim. It’s been awhile. Good to see things are good with you. Nice selection of gear to keep you busy. Still with the 4Runner? How’s that beautiful daughter of yours? Soon to be 3 years old next month, huh?

Enjoy the rest of the summer. :D

Regrettably sold the 4Runner last year, i should habe kept it. It actually did better on gas than my current DD. I now have a 96 Rav4. Done a bunch of fun work to it. Need to pull the engine and reseal. Not something I want to have hanging over my head should something go wrong, so I'll probably pony up and pay for it. It's a great car, hasn't left me stranded anywhere, low miles for the year, and cute.

Pardon the old lady's Jetta peeking out. That's another piece of work for another day

3 on the 22nd. Right now we have a frog farm going per her demand. Me and her grandpa catch a shtload of frogs and start an ecosystem in a Rubbermaid tub on the balcony.

If memory serves, I believe the M80 Chorus was kind of like a smaller version of the Roland Jazz 120 on the clean channel.
I recall the dirty channel was not quite as good as the clean channel but still useable.
Should make a good platform for pedals.
Congrats and enjoy.

Those Cool Cats were decent sounding chorus pedals.
Word of advice, try not to put any strain on the jack where the power supply goes in.
Try to keep anything from putting pressure on it.
The jacks were a known trouble area on those early Dano pedals.

Drop by more often if you can.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

A frog farm? What a great idea for your little girl. That’ll be a good experience and memory for the family. I grew up near a frog pond and I use to confuse them by popping them in my pocket once in a while. Then later in life my buddy unloaded some smoked frog legs on me. I didn’t sleep without thinking about that, and I still bug him about it. My Dad’s chocolate covered honey bees from Japan didn’t bother me. :D
I know how good the old 4Runners were, and my ‘87 Pathfinder was eventually sold because it could swallow a whole oil field. The Rav4 is a very good choice (IMO). Looks like a nice one you’ve got there.

Take care and enjoy your new amp.

The M-80 is great. I got it for $125 a couple weeks ago. The guy thought the amp was burnt out because it was cutting in and out according to him. I guess he never tried the amp without the footswitch, because that's the only thing that recreates the issue.

4Runner was great. Burnt no oil, leaked no oil, did everything under the sun to make it run right. Hit 18mpg on it.

Rav4 is great. Loved the snow, put some fat Coopers on it, did the whole cooling system and timing belt in may, external trans cooler, few other little things. Probably gonna do a few more little things before winter comes. If you jack up the driver front, the strut is entirely blown out, there's about 2 inches of up and down play.

The only reason it looks so good is because the previous owner repainted it lol.

That's a nice collection you got going there. 8) It's good to hear from here you, again, and to know you're doing well, especially making some cash. I remember you weren't doing so well at one time, so that's good to see a turn around with that. Wow, your daughter is going to be 3? Man, time flies. I remember when she was born. By the way, do you still play drums? I remember you had a kit a few years back, as well.
