I haven't found this anywhere on fender.com or google.

This guy is listing this PA for sale and claims it's a Fender Product.
I want to know:
A) Is it real?
B)If it is, how old is it?

Here's the link. If anyone can vouch for it authenticity, let me know.

i haven't really found anything official looking online, they may be, but it doesn't seem like they look like fender products just by the asthetics... maybe ask him to provide you with information on when he purchased it, from who, and some serial numbers or verification

I think it is legit but can not say 100 percent sure. Interesting tidbit, Leo Fender lived at 2851 Rolling Hills Drive.

Hmm..thanks for the replies. Is there a "contact" link anywhere here? Perhaps a Fender-ling can research this?

Cheers,
René

well maybe it is valid is leo lived on 2851, that would justify the number... you can contact the poster on the side of that page... as for fender, some of the guys come by here often, they might see it, if not try and contact a music store or something that sells fenders and ask for help because they generally have large catalogs of most products companies make and used to make for replacement parts and such
