This is the first guitar I've bought in about 11 years, and it's freaking great! :D 8)
First, my attempt at an artsy picture:

Next, the more practical setting:

It's a Hagstrom Retroscape H-III in faded sky blue, although it looks a little greener in person than it does in the picture. (For reference, my SCX2 is sea foam green.)

It has a slim neck, although not quite Ibanez Wizard slim, and the scale is 24.75". It's my first non-humbucker guitar, and the bridge pickup has all the jingle-jangle I've been missing. My only concern is the trem arm, which seemed a little stiff when I tried to divebomb. I'm starting to accept the fact that it's meant to be used more like a Bigsby, but that's okay.

It loves fuzz, too. At the moment I'm going back and forth between my Algal Bloom, French Toast, and Swollen Pickle when I play it. I'm starting to understand why people rave about playing fuzz pedals with single coils.

I've had it for about a month now, I bought it from MF during their Memorial Day sale. I wasn't sure I was going to keep it at first because I saw the new Fender Player Series right after it arrived and was GASing for a new Strat or Jaguar. But I can't stop playing it, so it is definitely a keeper and a player. It's just too much fun!

Cool guitar! 8) I've played on a Hagstrom bass from the 60's, that looked like that, and thought it was a nice player, with the thinnest neck I've ever played. Congrats on the find.

No, unfortunately not. But fortunately, neither did the guitar, because that neck looks like it's as wide as a washboard. Fortunately for Ms. Robertson, she looks like she had the kind of long, spindly fingers that could handle it.

Meh... Classical guitars all seem to be that way.
The cool effect is with the width of the neck and the shadows, it looks like a 12-string!
