I just received an "Excessive Heat Watch" alert on my phone from NOAA. From next Tuesday morning to Wednesday night, the afternoon highs are predicted to be between 105°/41° and 111°/44°!

Yowza! That’ll burn the paint off your car/truck. I miss the days when you could fry eggs on the metal dashboard while you opened the draft window on a dusty or rainy day. :lol:

It's supposed to reach 110°/43° on Wednesday and Thursday. That's hot but we are used to it. A good thing is that we've had a lot of rain so we're not in a drought this year. The desert is green now...
