North Hollywood (CA) -- in the San Fernando Valley. We're on the other side of "the hills" from the cool & beautiful people. The SFV is actually quite blue collar/middle class, not the image many have of LA.

 There are a lot of Californians in this forum. I live in Montreal, Canada, perhaps the worst place to be in if you are an english speaking Canadian nationalist. Oh well, I plan on moving to Ventura California once I graduate in Psychology.

Ventura's about an hour from me -- pretty cool place with a modest but growing music scene. Some jazz, some rock along Main St., with some folk and other options in small places here and there. It's in part a college town (UC Channel Islands) but Main is also somewhat an upscale destination.

Haha! My wife's family used to be in Lancashire. Though they also used to be in Yorkshire. Without moving a step.

The strange sliding phenomenon that is: Greater Manchester.

Like it says, I live in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. Also known as, "the wet coast". I look out a north facing window and see the mountains about a mile away. I look out a south facing window and see the harbour with the city - about a mile away.

Yeh!! And then throw Cheshire into the mix and we've got real delirium.
Then further on up the road it's the Wirral and Merseyside. Ask anyone in the Northwest now, where they live and it causes more debate than the Fender forums.
Never mind we sup our Bitter, run our Whippets, wear our flat caps and carry on.
So Cheers - C and good on yer lad.
