Been following your discussion and wondering if I've missed something. I've known about this outfit for years now....https://www.bhefner.com/

I mentioned B.Hefner/Musikraft as one of the licensees in one of my first posts in this thread.

(Are they no longer DBA Musikraft? I don't see it mentioned on that webpage.)

Also mentioned Moses Graphite.

I've just been using Warmoth as the example for US lincensees since everyone knows them.

Ahhh, I may have been mixed up.

Musikraft is a licensee and is still in business. Located in NJ.

B.Hefner is in CA. So they probably have no affiliation.

Guess I missed it in my scan.

Can't say. It's the first time I've been back there in years.

I think I messed up. After reading this thread I think I might have done well had I made necks out of the Canadian maple cut down in my front yard. Anybody interested in Birch? :P

Looks to be interesting, Doc. I’m sure Ceri and others did a great job. I’m sure it was even better when the Photobucket photos worked too.

Particularly the neck he built. Ceri is a gifted artist, player, and woodworker who lives in England. This is just a sample of his work. If you Google search, you'll find several links.....http://franciskylegallery.com/sites/Shdspts.html

Here we are together at NYC's BB King's when he visited NYC in 2009. I'm on your right.

Can I squeeze syrup out of birch necks like I can your maple necks?

Your choice, Rich. Syrup or beer; but, as I haven’t tried either, being a huge natural light maple syrup loyal fan, I hear birch is an acquired taste. Although, I have a woodpecker that likes it. :P

That was great you had that meeting with Ceri at BB’s. You are so right that there’s a lot of talent there. Beautiful work. I appreciate the link, Doc. I’ve had some old books with wood block prints and sketches, not the same but similar, and it’s plain to see Ceri is gifted. I can imagine how he did with the neck as discussed. :D
Cheers!

If you haven't done so already, search out some of the other gallery links under his name and see what he does with a brush.
