Haha! By the way: really nice collection, there. Out of curiosity, do you do all your own maintenance on the vintage amps or do you have a guy you trust?

Thanks

It's kinda weird, but there's a local anesthesiologist that works on my Vintage Fender Amps.

He's VERY good at working and fixing Vintage Fender amps.

He even does some cool conversions.

He may have done the very 1st Vibro Champ Piggyback conversion in the world.

I'd never ever seen one on the internet before he turned my '73 Vibro Champ into a Piggyback.

Since then, I've seen a lot that were most likely inspired by mine.

Here's a pic Brad.

Wow! Beautiful! And great to hear you have a rock solid go-to vintage guy. I've been looking for "my guy" in the Phoenix area for a bit now - have some great folks who do some great work, but still looking for 'the one'. It's kind of like dating, I guess. Haha!

LOL!

(me follows Brad home from work and sneaks into his back door while he's walking the dog and finds 15 vintage Marshall half-stacks)

I don’t think anybody (with the possible exception of Paul) can keep track of your basses, Glenn.

You buy, sell and trade basses like a man possessed.

I’m sure you have fun doing it.
I think I’d get dizzy.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I've seen more gear over the years while doing Roadie jobs, change hands. By some pretty big names. They come, and they go. It's just gear, as much as you may like something.

I'd say my Fender gear is about 50%, I've got four Fender Teles one MIA and three MIMs, I also have a Squier Tele. I have two Tele copies that are both Wesleys and I have a Wesley bass just to balance things out a bit. :D I have oen Peavey amp and a small Orange amp. I have various accoustics none of them Fender.

I had a couple of years when I bought a lot of guitars but havent bought one now in quite a while but I am starting to feel the GAS build up a bit so you never know there may be a new one in the not to distant future.

2 Fender Strats
1 Fender Duo Sonic
2 Harmony SLO's
1 Chapman ML-2

3 Fender amps
1 hand made 57 champ clone

Fender Custom shop cables

Yes I Definitely lean to Fender.

I would like to get a Les Paul Custom some day, all other guitars on my wish list are Fenders.

Love, MIM Fender Precision Bass Guitar Squier Model Fiesta Red
Jackson David Ellefson CB-XV 5-String Electric Bass Guitar Black
La Sexorcisto, MIM Fender Stratocaster Olympic White (just refretted jumbos and a brass nut)
Jim Dandy, Gretsch Parlor Guitar

I'm all Fender: four strats and one Fender amp!
Except for one lonely Gibson!
I am invested in Fender!

I don't have a lot of gear but most of what I have is Fender:

Baja Classic Player Tele 60s (with a Baja 50's neck)
Baja Tele 50s (JBE Modern T Pickups)
American Standard Strat
Super Champ X2 Amp

Also have:

PRS Se Semi-Hollow (Lollar Imperial Low Wind Pickups)
Taylor 312 Acoustic

I've had various other brands (Gibson, Ibanez, Godin) but winnowed down.
