for me only 3 fender guitars (2 strats 1 tele) as opposed to 6 Gibsons + 2 Epi archtops.

three Fender amps, Acoustasonic JR, Mustang III for kicks, and an HR Deville 4x10 which is the workhorse.

I bought a Tele in '66 and just kept going. I even had
a Fender Chroma Rhodes Polaris for awhile. It sounded great
through the Dual Showman amp.

I've gone through various Fender gear over the years, but the current roster is:

Fender Rumble 350 Combo
1982 Fender Super Champ
Fender Passport Mini
Fender Precision Lyte Bass
Squier Vintage Modified Precision PJ Bass
Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass
Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom

I decided to count the Squiers, since that is a Fender product.

For those fortunate to be buried beneath a hord of Fender gear I gotta ask, what time does the shop open?
For now, it’s basically just two Fenders in my stockpile. A version I Mustang IV and a 2012 American Deluxe Strat. :D The beauty of my one Strat is that with the S-1 switch I can get 10 tone options from the switching. That saves on buying 2 or three guitars to do the same thing. Although, definitely not the same as a good tube variety, that SS is not as heavy, it is more economical, more reliable, and the Mustang can simulate several amps too. All in all that leaves more room to rock out.

Still . . . the next time I fill up with GAS I may see more Fenders to go with my Fender tin sign while I wear one of my Fender shirts and my Fender ball cap while sitting on my Fender stool which doubles as a throne behind my vintage drum kit. :P

I am in in the "light side only" area myself with just these Fenders:

- 2004 Stratocaster MIM Standard -- black w/ added Tex Mex pups
- (2010?) Squier VM Thinline (in Shoreline gold w/ Ebony fingerboard) -- added MIA Tele Std pups
- FrankenStratocaster w/ Dimarzio HBs, Might Mite 70s-style neck, all other Fender parts

I have a handful of other guitars but my main two of all of them are my Gibsons:
1) (made in Kalamazoo) 1979 Gibson SG Standard: I have owned and played this one forever (in extremely good condition considering how heavily played it is); a super nice playing and sounding guitar
2) 2010 Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro -- Even though wanting a Les Paul for quite a while, it took me a while as there was always something that I was not crazy about. The one I got was the one, though, for sure with the perfect feature list, so pretty, and an awesome player (the expected mahogany body/neck w/maple cap, locking Grovers, coil taps, weight relieved but not chambered, BB3/Classic57 pups, no active electronics, antique binding/pickguard, 60s satin neck, a "proper" mother-of-pearl Gibson headstock, classic cherry burst -- all for much less $ than a less-desirable (to me) Standard model).

Nice collection of Fender gear you've got there T2.

I've never owned or played a Fender Esquire.

If it's a lot like a Gibson LP Jr., I may like it a lot.

If I were to get an Esquire, It'd be a Blonde like yours.

Exactly 2/3 of my guitars are Fender.

Exactly 1/3 of my amps are Fender.
More than 1/3 if you count my SWR which company Fender bought but after I bought the amp.

I’d say I’m fairly invested.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
