Hi there, I found this wonderful device that fixes the Telecaster neck dive issue. Only real solution I found that fixes the issue, a college kid came up with it...sells it on Amazon but is cheaper direct to his website thebleucats.com. Here is a short clip with him talking about it and he has a demonstration. https://youtu.be/WOugJ2qj02A

Does anyone have a better solution than this to this issue. I have tried the other ways to fix this that just didn't fix the problem. What do you think?

Thanks, for dropping in here at the Forum, Lucy1093, and welcome.

That was interesting and looks to be one solution to that problem. I think that some cases might find the extension a little difficult to fit though. Maybe not. I’m guessing this is taken into consideration. One will need to check on theirs. Perhaps, a Strat/Tele friendly case (as most are) will suffice. YMMV.

The solution to that was addressed sixty four years ago with the invention of the Fender Stratocaster.

Ooh, that's fugly.
Looking for a simple, no-cost solution to the neck-dive problem? Keep your hand on the neck and it won't happen.

yeah, notice the only time they show him holding the guitar, they switched the video to black and white and he is wearing a black vest with dark colored shirt.

Most people I think solve this by using a strap that isn't slippery on the back. There are also weighted straps but that just seems silly to add weight IMO.

On an episode of The Big Bang Theory, when Howard and Raj got one of the non-regular cast members to join their band, he played an SG... with the strap tied to the headstock like an acoustic.

Of course, that would work fine with an SG if you don't care about being in tune :D

There' s one that's even simpler.

The "Seat belt" material straps are usually the biggest enabler... Use a Strap made with brushed leather or sued. Grips your shoulder much better, no movement.

 Just make sure it’s not blue suede or it will rock from side to side. :P
