I like that EJ Thinline Strat - wonder how it sounds!

Seems that Fender doesn't offer the EJ Thinline in Candy Apple Red.....

It sounds great!

. . . I cant see the vid postings w/ IE10, that's why I always post links. Maybe someone else is using IE10 also. Occasionally I feel stupid not seeing what video was posted and jump over to Edge to watch the vids and by then I'm ready for a break from the PC. Vids are a PITA for me as I still prefer IE10 over Edge or other browsers.
First off, it has always been a problem with videos as the standards and requirements change, sfceric64. There are many reasons why videos work or do not and you have pointed out some technical barriers. It doesn’t add to the fun factor that’s for sure. I’ll try and make ya feel better.

In this country copyright legislation and trade leverage along with general agreements have been a circus. We here in the Tundra are not afforded many of the fair choices others like us have. Rights and privileges come with little announced “not withstanding” clauses that basically come down to protectionism, poor or neglected negotiations, and misled legislation that are special interest and supportive monopoly orientated. Foreign providers are turned away or limited and often have to have a Canadian version. Satellite radio is owned 40% by the taxpayers’ Canadian Broadcasting Network.

In light of recent global discussions and participation more mismanagement and practices are presently set to come to prevent a universal and fair approach (as held in other countries) here in this fair land. We not only lose some of the videos here, but many times pertinent informative and educational videos are missing playback even from our newsletters. Go figure. Our telecasts replace American originators with a Canadian sponsored version, and that disrupts delayed or rewound playback when the stations are switched over to the regular broadcast which may not replicate following programming on the recording. Streaming services are often forbidden even if the Canadian consumer is willing to pay for the service. That also makes a lot of preloaded media apps useless, which comes at a cost when considering new gear like TVs. Thankfully, no books have been burned - yet.

Although, I remember the book Catcher In The Rye briefly smuggled into my high school for book reports in the 60s. A box of those banned books made it past Customs from Washington to BC. I think our Literature teacher had connections. Incidentally, that and a contested sequel are still banned elsewhere throughout the world.

That said, the videos we do see here on the Forum are always welcome. So thanks, gang! It’s good to see Fender and others have been busy over the year to bring us new gear to salivate over.

Thanks, again for the NAMM thread and the GAS withdrawals, Mike.

Hey all,
Does anyone know when the guitars at NAMM, I am specifically looking at the Meteora, will be coming out for pre-order?
Anyone know how many of these guitars they plan on making since it's a limited run?
Anyone know the price expected on these? I saw a website taking pre-orders at 1600 Euros but I can't tell if that is legit (and I am in the USA so I wouldn't order from them anyway).
Thanks for the help!

Well, I like the sound and weight of this. Sweetwater is expecting to have a batch
at the end of March.

Eric says in the video it's a solid block all the way down the middle, and hollow on the sides.

Sweetwater has all the specs posted and pre-order options available.

The Troublemakers are Cabronitas with wide-range Shawbucker humbucking pickups.

Troublemakers are Cabronitas wearing a Tele Deluxe suit, hence's the "CBS fat headstock" neck.

A C. W. Fleming favorite! The Tele-Strat hybrid which started life as a Masterbuilt Custom Shop creation is now offered as a part of the Limited Edition Parallel Universe series. Available in 2-colour sunburst with a premium ash body and a 1-piece Deep C-shaped maple neck with 22 narrow tall frets, this one-of-a-kind guitar comes stock with a set of Custom Shop '69 single-coils and 5-way switching.
