Post subject: My 20 Dollar gutar. Not a typo.

It's a 1981 electra Phoenix X140S.
I got it from my brothers friend who had no clue what it was, and it was quite beaten. I got the wirring fixed, and I'll be making new brass knobs to match the originals.
Then, the only thing left is the broken fat switch and restoring the body.

Nice find. With a little bit of work, that could turn out to be a great guitar. How are the pickups that came with the guitar?

The pickups actually do very well, they aren't American Standard quality, but they perform well compared to Fenders.
I'm thinking of Semour Duncans though.

Yeah, the SG horns really stuck out.
But it does look nice.
I was surprised how wide wide it was in person too, I never really got to d much with it before I got it.

Well, I get lucky.

Anyhoo, can anyone tell me if a bixby vibrato could fit? I think so, but don't wanna buy one before I know.
