I was buying single picks at my guitar store and looking in the fender heavy hole i found a fender "extra Heavy". Has anybody else ever found let alone use one of these?

I don't use extra heavy.....but I always get white pearloid, just because I lose picks all the time. With that color, I can always see them against, just about any color background, such as chairs, sofas, floors, etc.

I own one. I bought a used Strat and found it in the compartment of the case. I used it once. I think it's bulletproof.

I've found that if you carefully "notch" the extra heavy picks, you can get some great natural harmonics and overtones.

I got the idea from seeing and using a couple of those sharkfin-type picks like this one, but only made the top notch (no fins) and not quite as defined as this :

Mr Bill, I used a box cutter on a metal bench and it worked well. It's not a pick that you'd want to use on every song, but rather when you want to kind of "rip it up" a bit. Your welcome and good luck!
