Is there any Fenders that would work as a good investment? That would gain value overtime if kept in good condition.

Example i seen a original Fender 60 stratocaster go for 30 grand on ebay.

So..any Investent Models out there?

You mean a new one you could buy now and see it increase in value like a 62 has?

Don't buy guitars. Buy pharmaceutical stocks.

probably only limited run models and custom shop guitars would have a significant value increase over time... i'd imagine most production models won't increase a whole lot unless most of them magically disappear in the next 50 years

A Jeff Beck Stratocaster signed by Jeff might be worth a few bucks down the road.

You don't make investment choices because they're "fun" or you're "into them" unless you want to end up broke.

You want to make money? Buy pharma stocks.

You want to own a guitar? Buy one of those.

Guitars are for playing, do like Jim says and invest in pharmaceuticals or biotech.

Guitars and cars are never good investments. They have one thing in common; only the rare gems are good investments, and that's if you don't play with them.

Although, I too suffer from Guitar Acquisition Syndrome, and often think about dumping money into a nice strat because it might be worth something someday. :)

It would be nice to own a "more than average,rare/limited" guitar that might gain value overtime.

If it dosent then you still own 1 heck of a guitar :D

anything custom shop will play nice, and likely increase in value if you keep it in good condition
