Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Getting this guitar was a saga. They don't make this model without a cutaway anymore so it was a custom order, took six weeks. when it came into SW it had a hairline crack in the neck, so it had to go back to Taylor another week. At first they were going to replace the neck, which I was ok with but they decided whatever caused the crack may have effected the rest of the guitar so they decided to build a new guitar. That decision took another week. So now it's been 8 weeks and I can't play a guitar I've paid for. Six more weeks while they build another one. So after 14 weeks of waiting It finally arrives. The guitar is beautiful and sounds even better. Low action and plays better than any 12 string I've ever played and the tone is outstanding bar none. It was worth the wait! ImageImage

I am very happy for you. Hopefully they went the extra mile for you, as you had to wait then return and wait some more, and they should go the extra, just to make you a happy customer. Oh BTW it is a beautiful looking guitar.

Sweet! Congrats for the beautiful guitar! I really like Taylors, have 5 of my own, and have been looking at the 600 series for my next, love the maple. I really want a 610e, but might settle for a 614e.

Congrats on your new purchase. I love my Taylors , I have a 2003 110GB which was given to me through Guitars for Veterans along with my Big Baby which I bought 2 months ago from Musician's Friend. I now won't play anything else as far as Acoustics go.
