Post subject: Robot to build terminal boards

Any robotics experts out there? Is it possible to build an automated system that could wire and solder terminal board circuitry? The goal would be a system that could take in a design specification file (spice netlist, routing info, whatever) and build to that spec.

To be honest, I'm not sure how serious I am about actually going through with it but the idea want quit tickling my brain so I'm seeking any feedback. Somebody convince that it's either viable or stupid or possibly both viable and stupid. :wink:

Just to be clear, I'm not envisioning robot in the sciFi sense. I'm thinking more of a manufacturing type robotic arm or two.
