as a strictkly tele player, all of mine do different things, But imo a tele can do it all, i have a fmt hh tele that can be super heavy, and a nashville tele that can sound like a strat, but with more bite, and my flamekaster is great for the blues, while my am standard and my am deluxe can do just about anything, and do have that good ole tele twange and sparkle. To say the tele is just a country insturment is wrong, look at guys like the boss, tom petty, joe strummer, andy summers, jim root, john 5. None of them are known for playing country!

There was some issue with the language in this post. Whenever I see such inconsiderate use of language, which is inconsiderate for the reason that the potential reader must first decrypt it, I stop reading. I believe most others do as well. Language is important.

Back to talking Teles...

...and beyond.

Modern amps like Vetta and C-T (and some immortals like Twin Reverb and Vibroverb) can provide a competent guitarist a wide variety of useful sounds processing the output of any of several guitars.

Personal belief, a Strat, Jazzmaster, Mosrite, Firebird...

...or Tele will give a competent player a fine country...

...and beaucoup other useful guitar sounds.

But if going to play country and country-ish some night...ain't no regrets in bringing a Tele.
