I took this through my telescope in Tampa FL. We did not have a total eclipse but it was still vary cool. You can see two sun spots around the 3:00 position.

Great pic! On the FL south east coast, we had the view of the eclipse at 86%. It looked a bit overcast out during the peak here at 2:58 PM.

Nice.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

That's really appreciated. It was cloudy in southern Manitoba so thanks for giving us a beautiful photo. :D
I should know Omar59. I saw some that international scientists took here in 1979 when I visited the epicentre to do a telecast with the Guess Who. I had a great time visiting with these guys, some of whom stayed at the same hotel. Here's a look at the eclipse back then.

I know it must have been a great feeling and experience for you to have gotten that shot. Congrats!

So, did anyone listen to "Dark Side Of The Moon" for the occasion? :P

Well, at least you can watch the whole thing online. I didn't see much from where I lived. The sky was partially muted, but nothing too drastic. I guess down south was where it was the most coverage.

Yeah, that was a good one, Paul.

I don't know if it's true. But, I heard stories of animals acting strange just before an eclipse, much like they gather before a storm.

Sorta like gathering with your mates at a pub. :P
