I have been looking to get one here in Chile. I have the Mustang III amp, but thought it would be nice to have something lighter to bring to practice. Is it really out of service now? I can't find anything official about it.
Anybody have experience with the EXP-1 Expression pedal? I may get one of those instead. I read that you CANNOT use the 4-button foot switch with it. Is that true? That seems antithetical.
Thanks

Out of sales, i.e. discontinued, yes, for quite a while now (2 years?)
Out of service, no (depending on country and warranties, I imagine).
Why? Likely a combination of low sales and low profits.

The only surviving original Mustang amp series is now the Mustang I, and I have a suspicion that it too will go soon, so Fender can reduce the time they have to support them.
