EXCELLENT! Everyone deserves a big round of applause on this, and that particularly includes Brad, without whom it couldn't have been done.

Ain't it a great Forum?

Cheers - C

Could not of said it better myself. Hope you feel better Mike. Enjoy the amp!

I'm still just so thrilled with the support and generosity and i can't thank all of you enough who have been a part of this and/or who have left me positive comments and good thoughts in my other thread.

I first became aware of the G-DEC after test driving one (and yeah, I got my cool Fender T-Shirt too) and I was immediately impressed with how easy it was to dial in some really good sounds without even looking at a manual.

Many thanks to all and this is yet, just another reason, why I am so proud to be a part of this truly amazing Fender community for the past year and plan to be around for many more years to come!

i haven't logged on in a while but when i saw this i was really sad. miami mike has been on these forums for a long time and he has always been a great addition to the fender forum family.

this kinda hit home because my mom was recently diagnosed with fibro mayalgia and rheumatoid arthritis (she's only in her late 30's) and she has to take a large quantity of medicine to try to get it under control so she can function including a low dose of a drug that is commonly used to fight cancer (can't think of the name of it off hand, sorry). she is getting better though and she can now walk for short periods of time.

i really hope you beat the cancer mike! we all know you can! keep playin, it's like therapy (at least it is for me :). hope you like the amp!

Glad to see you got your amp. I was going to toss in a donation but saw that they were no longer accepting them, so kudos to you!

Update: OK, the amp has been ordered and will be on its way this week. Still waiting to find out the total including shipment, after which I'll cut a check to Mike for the excess. Stay tuned for the final tally!

Everyone... Though it was a small thing for me to open my mouth about helping Miami Mike, such a great guy all around, this truly would not have happened without the leg work Brad put into it. A round of applause for Brad!!! Thanks Brad for all you did with this idea.

ALSO... a hearty thanks to all of you for pulling through and making this come true for Miami Mike. It amazes me still today how wonderful things can happen through the pulling together of a community. You are a fantastic bunch of people.

Mike... enjoy the G-DEC, buddy.

Thanks for the applause, Barry, but stuff like this is all about YOU guys and not me. It's a fantastic community and stuff like this just goes to prove it!
