Just made my Paypal contribution. My apologies for my tardiness: we are actually facing similar difficulties to Miami Mike's in my family at the moment, and I've been distracted...

Brad; any further problems making the total, please just post another note about it - that target WILL be met.

Kudos to all concerned on this:

Cheers - C

Sorry I'm late to the party I was out of town the last four days. Enjoy Mike and be strong.

I just got in from my chemo session and wanted to stop by and thank everyone again for the support, generosity and positive vibe!

I'll be updating my "Music/Cancer/Chemo" thread and then snoozing for a while.

We're done, folks! Amazingly enough, today I received letters from everyone who sent in pledges via postal mail, plus we had a few more PayPal contributions come in. We have enough to get Miami Mike a G-DEC 30 delivered to his doorstep and give him a little extra spending cash. I'm pretty swamped this week but will post a wrap-up ASAP. Needless to say, thanks to everyone who participated -- it's great to see how strong of a community we're building, and I know Mike deeply appreciates what ya'll are doing here.

Great news. Sorry I couldn't have helped more than I would have liked, but the total was met, so that's all that counts.

EXCELLENT! Everyone deserves a big round of applause on this, and that particularly includes Brad, without whom it couldn't have been done.

Ain't it a great Forum?

Cheers - C

I'm speechless with gratitude. Thanks so much to everyone that helped to make this happen. I have a few minutes before I leave for my infusions and it was great to read about this. Again, many thanks to all!
