Thanks :)
I finally after some hard months waiting got my Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster, and it's absolutely amazing :)

Is that an aftermarket body?
It looks like koa to me rather than basswood.
It's very pretty either way.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Thanks for all the welcomes, I appreciate it :)
I haven't been much active here but hopfully it will be more soon :)

How do you mean aftermarket body? Like from Warmoth and made like a partscaster?
I don't know, but this is a legit buy from my local music store, and they ordered it directly from Fender, and there where also a guy from Fender Custom Shop there when I got it and he had a look at it and said it was great, so I don't think anything would be weird?

Hehe yeah I can honestly say I'm very impressed with this.
Going from a time when Squier was considered pretty crappy or beginner guitars only, to see what they have done to these little more expensive lines..

I've played all sorts, and my main one is the Fender Mexico Deluxe, but this Squier screams the same quality to me.
Very impressed and happy with this one, and I always forget it's a Squier everytime I play it XD

Hey guys, I've been away for a little while but I hope everyone is fine?
I took a new photo of my strat of how it looks today, so I thought I'd share it with you since the only other photo here is black and white. + it has a thong hanging on it...

Image
The bell reflector knobs I actually got inspired by a guy who posted a pic on this forum (I think) of his strat with the same ones, but he had a blue pearl pickguard instead of a red one.
I've actually thought of having both the red and blue since I bought this guitar, so it was nice to see someone getting it done too :)

This guitar truly is a b i t c h to try to capture on photo, so I'm sorry if it looks crappy.

Well, it certainly does not look crappy, Robin. In fact if looks great. I liked the knobs, and most musicians would agree that a good thong never hurt anybody.

Thanks, for the post and the photo.

Hehe well by that I meant that it was hard to get the right light and colors of the guitar, and the pearl pickguard.
The guitar actually is cream/aged white so it captured that nicely :)

Thanks bud :)
Very happy with this one, the best guitar I've ever owned :)
