Been hot and sticky here these past weeks and so were my palms, so trying a glove on my fretting hand.
Problem solved.
Anyone else tried this?

You know, that would also be handy (no pun intended :P) in the winter, at least where I live. Cold hands make playing rather difficult at times, too.

Ha sounds like my drummer friend in Finland, he puts drinks in the fridge to warm them up.

New England is bad enough. I don't think I'd want to move closer to the Arctic, come around February, especially.

I have a similar pair of winter gloves where the attached finger tips flip on and off. I have thought of using similar gloves for my drum sticks as sweaty palms are problematic; however, I don't know how they would work with the Strat, but it looks like a plan, Don. :D

Or, on those cold occasions, you could light the neck on fire like Hendrix and rub your hands in front of it. :P

Mine's fine on guitar, palm slides smoothly on neck. did try a cotton pair but the seams were not comfortable.
Maybe some industrial grip gloves would be ok for sticks . Guess it depends on the way you hold them, but may lose some sensitivity.
Maybe better for drummers to follow the advice in Hitch hikers Guide to the Galaxy and know where your towel is

I think I'll just stick to wrapping my hands to my 6As with Duck tape. DT seems to be the do-it-all fix for many, including me, here in the Forum.

There are other options for reducing hand sweat too, including pills and topical solutions.
If too bad, one can also have the sympathetic nerve cut, which stops the hands from sweating.

Or just wait for old age, and hand and foot sweat won't be a problem anymore.
