I do have one new Jazz Tort with the film protector still on, and the Jazz Mint Green from the Am. Pro. with the film protector still on. I also have two new Precision Torts with the film protectors still on.

Care to elaborate?
A gift?

If it sounds as great as it looks, that's great!

I considered getting a Standard Fretless , but Fender cut the 2-Color Sunburst, and only makes a Standard Fretless in Black now.

I wonder when they cut that? It must not have been too long ago, since I thought that I've seen the sunburst ones available fairly recently. Then again, there's left over stock and all of that.

I think it was sometime about the beginning of June the Burst was discontinued from the Standard Fretless Jazz.
