I am one lucky SOB ! After having my gear stolen , Guitars for Veterans first donated to me, a 1996 Fender DG-5 which is definately a player thanks to upgrades which were installed in it. Now last night , a friend of mine told me about somebody he knew who had a USA made, 2003 Taylor 110-GB he wanted to sell and was only asking $250.00 for it . He said the only thing with it was that, it had a surface crack which was recently repaired but did not affect the playability . So, I went to go check it out and I could not believe how great this guitar sounded . Easily the best sounding Acoustic I have ever heard in my life . I had no problem plunking down 250 bucks for this one folks. I can see why Taylors have the reputation they have. I have always wanted one and now my life is complete . I am one happy camper !

LOL

Carefull, Jeff.
Those things are addictive.
We don't want you posting stories of how you took out a second mortgage to finance a Presentation Series.
Best not to go snooping around Taylor ads, K?

Congrats and enjoy!

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Sorry to hear your gear was stolen but congrats on your Taylor. They are fine guitars and I would love to have one even though I don't play acoustic much. Enjoy! :)

Hey, Jeff. I know what it's like to be violated by a thief, so I share your loss.

I also know what it's like to be the recipient of good Samaritans, friends, and family. Good fortunes are always good, and all of this is better than anything the thieves will reap.

Guitars for Veterans sounds like a great organization. Nice that they presented you with a 1996 Fender DG-5

That $250 was a great deal. Ask anyone that has one, and BMW-KTM is right, enjoy your Taylor and don't get bitten by the Taylor bug. Crack repair or not, yours has character and mojo that will appreciate your vibe. Congrats!
