Cudos to you, Brad. You created something very special here. Even though Facebook has broaded the horizons for many of us to get to know each other's world in greater depth, the conversations here seem to work better. It's been a privilege to be able to share the happenings in your life this past decade. Here, we've had a little bit of what life's portion has to offer. We've shared great joys. We've lost good friends. People have moved on into different lives. Providence has seen fit to smile on Miami Mike. I know what this group meant to him a decade ago, and how we banded together in mojo spirit for his healing. Regrettably, for Martian, it was not to be. His passing still leaves a great space here and I know we all miss him. Rebecca Laird [ aka texasguitarslinger] still treasures the Stratocaster we helped build for her, and has gone on to become an impressive and promising artist. We had the pleasure of being a small part of that and watching it happen over the years. Xhefri, our Strat Plus guru has begun to build guitars under his own name logo. But there's a side of him that few here are aware of. He continues to do good works for the betterment of the human condition worldwide through an organization he founded years ago. In addition, where he grew up, and continues to call home, is an adventure unto itself, and worthy of a book. I am proud to have him as a friend. These are some of the highlights which I recall. God Bless Us, Everyone.

Doc

OK guys, girls, pets and whatever: my ten years on the forum is fulfilled today. Funny, but when I joined I had no idea the forum was also a web noob.

It's been a great ride, and I've learned a lot from people here - thank you everyone, friends and foes alike.

A plus 100 to Doc's post above.

And my special thank you's go to those of Fender staff who have found the time to write on the forum, giving us normals an inside/insight view of the company. Cheers yall, especially Rob & Mike.

I'm guessing that Brad & company are working on something even cooler for the
Fender Forums 10th Anniversary prizes???

I just saw the Fender "Newport" Bluetooth Speakers....want!

"The Newport Bluetooth speaker is not without the quality Fender audio lovers have come to expect with premium audio features, such as two full-range drivers matched to a tweeter, 30 watts of powerfully clear Fender audio, and support for aptX and AAC high-quality digital audio signals. The Newport speaker makes it seamless to conduct calls with full telephony and echo cancellation, along with a built-in USB port to charge smartphone and tablet devices and the ability to control your music playlist of choice."

Speaking of Fender Forums 10th and The Soul Of Tone, it's been 10 years since Tom Wheeler's great book 'The Soul Of Tone: Celebrating 60 years of Fender Amps' was released in 2007. :D
