Hi
Hoping someone here can point me in the direction of where the "extensive technical explanations" and other Leo Fender literature referenced and scanned by Tom Wheeler in his Archives book is stored...
Also particularly interested in Tavares's notes kept daily over years...

Many thanks!

I recall some posts mentioning these through the past 10 years. Try the 'search' function. Good luck!

Very interesting question.
I did a forum search with "Tom Wheeler" and "Tavares", brought up a lot of interesting stuff but nothing that would help here.
Googling gave this page: JournalismUOregon, this time without Ducks

If you get anywhere, keep us posted on the results.

thanks
- Yes, I started with a search and was met with a nothing found or loads, depending on the wording of course.
the no results returns were interesting - seemingly no talk about correspondence between Leo/Fender and patent attorney? Nothing on technical explanations...

hmm

That kind of material is not available for anybody; at least not without a lot of digging, contacting various persons/institutes etc.
And the average forum member isn't a Fender historian - his/her/its main problems are more likely buzzing/grounding/which-pickup-is-best and so on.
So, no conspiracy in the lack of conversation.

Yup, I appreciate all that. Thanks
Still, it'd be good to know who has it so an anybody could make a request if they thought they had a fair reason to.
