In a Stratocaster Guitar, we have a 5 way Selector switch which allows us to switch between the 3 pickups, however we cannot combine both neck pickup and bridge pickup through Selector switch (except if you're using a telecaster). If every pickup has its own switch at the bottom, we will be able to combine the neck pickup and bridge pickup together. (Telecast mode in a Stratocaster)

Here's some options that have cropped up in the past. Not all are still available, but past and present possibilities may get you there.

The S-1 switch:

This one gets a little complicated but is viable for the adventurous or a good tech:

I found it interesting and mildly disappointing that my 2014 AmDlx Strat, which has the S-1 switch, doesn't have the Tele-style neck+bridge as one of the switching options. Now that it's out of warranty, fixing that omission is on my task list (I'll probably get rid of the "all three in series" setting that I don't care for and never use).

Modding the S-1 to the Tele-style neck+bridge is something for consideration. My AmnDlx all three pups at once doesn't get used much either, but I can't say never. There is more to the Tele sound than just the neck+bridge switch combo, however.

Let's see . . . 3 way switching, jamming in between those positions, 5 way switching (the added 2 positions simply reproduce a toggle that was forced in between switch positions of a 3 way switch giving you a shared neck and mid, mid and bridge combo - nothing other than simplification added here from the 3 way), S-1 added to the 5 way switch giving 10 pup/tone combinations although, again, not all independent poles, Super Switch with four independent poles 5 way switches (4 switches that can be combined together with super duper results or a mish mosh), and other options or axes will be enough to wet the appetite.

If I were to mod my Strat's S-1 then that would cancel out my thoughts of adding a full blown Tele. :P
Still a great option though IMHO, and change left over.

When I think of all the great songs that came before all of this . . . perhaps, the KISS principal isn't all that bad.

But. what's the fun in that? :D

YMMV
