I saw this posted on the main page of Ultimate-Guitar, and found it interesting, so I'll give it a share. It's Fergie (of the Black Eyed Peas and solo work), who I usually don't find very entertaining singing Sweet Child O Mine with the help of Slash. It actually wasn't bad, so I figured I'd share it. She does a pretty good Axl  (aside from more drug use and swearing at the crowd)

The guitar seemed a bit quiet at points, but otherwise, it was surprisingly good.

Hopefully this can break up the clutter of the last day or two and give everyone a good laugh or bit of entertainment.

Thats the first time Slash played that song in a long time onstage.

Try this thread for an influences link:

Big Momma Thorton>>Janis Joplin>>Robert Plant>>Axl Rose>>??
Janis Joplin was once quoted that she could not follow Big Momma Thorton on a concert program. Go get yourself some recordings and give a listen.
You'll understand.

Doc

She's actually a very good singer and has some range. Plus, she has a smoking body, which doesn't hurt :)

Not that impressed by Fergie's rendition of this GnR classic. However, it is nice to see Slash doing it again.

That's something I would expect more from than you. I sometimes hit the reply button then forget what the subject was and have to back out. Then after I read the post again I forget what I was going to say. A senior thing I'm sure.

You know when you click the "reply" button you can scroll down below the reply box, and there's a topic review, showing in order from top to bottom the latest post to the oldest post.

Yeah I know but I forget about that as well. Usually I look at the screen blankly for a couple of minutes.

They also did a rendition of Heart's Barracuda during that set. That was aright as well. I'm actually pretty surprised in a good way of the job they did on the two songs.
